Breakfast, the first meal of the day.

Most people believe that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. While some may contest its important meal status, many will agree that good home cooking first thing in the morning helps start the day off in the right manner.
If you ain’t (are not for you non Texans) from these parts you might ask, what do Americans eat for breakfast?
Most people believe that a typical American Breakfast consist of eggs and bacon or sausage with a side of toast. This famous recipe requires that the Eggs are typically served scrambled, sunny side up or over easy. Decisions will have to be made on the non-scrambled eggs. What is your preference? runny yoak or dry yoak?
If you are looking for a grand slam style breakfast that means you are looking for more than a trifecta. You need four of your typical American Breakfast food groups to create a Grand Slam. In order to round all four bases with your recipe, the four basic breakfast food groups are sure to make you look for that seventh inning stretch to shake off all the effects of a big hearty meal. Our version of a Grand Slam includes two eggs cooked anyway, thick hickory smoked bacon, a large stack of pancakes and a side of biscuits and gravy. If you are not careful to move around after your grand slam you might tend to seize up before getting up. A word of caution before hitting your home run you might need a big glass of milk or a tall glass of orange juice to wash all that food down.
If you are looking for a simple American Breakfast or swinging for the fences, the Grand Slam will always be the Best American Breakfast. So what are you waiting for? Go knock it out of the park, American Style.
